Publishing the Addendum for SPAC Transactions
On December 17, 2021, the HKEX announced that the rules of the new listing regime for SPAC would be effective from January 1, 2022 (the “New Listing Rules”). According to the New Listing Rules, the subscription and trading of a SPAC’s securities will be restricted to professional investors as defined in the Securities and Futures Ordinance only. If you place securities trading orders with us or avail the services from us, you will be deemed to have agreed and accepted the SPAC Addendum.
